2013. Wow. The Art Wheeler Cabaret was such an amazing event. So many stellar performers. We were honored to have the great Cindy Blackman Santana Quartet play for us at The Southern. Her drumming and the beyond amazing guitar work by Aurelien Budynek was out of this world. And speaking of amazing guitar work – Charlie Hunter. Enough said. It’s not possible to hear enough jazz flute from Gina Sobel. Patricia Barber at Old Cabell Hall. And Jamal Milner another great guitar performer.
